I'm still here

My embarrassment over not posting in a long time will not keep me from sharing these photos with you.
Fenny and I climbed Black Butte on July 5. The ranger watching for fires let us up into the fire lookout.
I was on the Oregon Coast on location scouting. It turned out to be a beautiful day.
More from the top of Black Butte.
This is my beautiful wife at the end of a wonderful day.

Christmastime Getaway

Fenny and I went to Portland last weekend for a little getaway. Here are some pictures.

We were near Pioneer square when I took this picture of Fenny with the Otters.
Downtown Portland... self portrait with our phone.
Friday night we went out to watch Beauty and the Beast. Here we are after the show.
Beautiful Fenny after the show.
We ate Sushi at a very fun Sushi restaurant before the show. Yumm...

I'm Married

Hey everyone,

I am such a poor blogger. First of all, I don't blog often enough and then, when I do blog, I don't really want to share my inmost thoughts. I prefer to do that one on one not to the whole world. This is especially true when I have no idea who is going to read this. I know many people feel anonymous when they blog but I don't.

However, since I don't write personal letters to people, I see this as a way to keep friends and family up- to- date on my life.

So here it is: I'm married. I previously shared that I had moved to Bend Oregon to be near the love of my life. Well, on September 13, in front of friends and family, we went to the altar and laid down our lives before the Lord and each other creating an eternal 3 way covenant. Wow! It was really fun, and, while I'm sure the ceremony was nearly 3/4 of an hour it seemed like only moments to me. Soon after we were enjoying an amazing reception with almost 100 of our closest friends. Everyone was amazingly supportive and kind. There was so much love and support in that room. What a great way to start off our new lives together.

Especially amazing were all the people who volunteered their days and late into the night to prepare decorations, flowers, drinks, table settings, and of course, clean up. Thank you to everyone.

Our honeymoon literally swept upon us as we took a road trip to Canada. Through the kindness of our pastors and some points from Fenny's work travel the first two nights were entirely free. The rest of the week was spent in Victoria, BC. What a beautiful island that is.

We enjoyed the Butchart Gardens, The Royal British Museum, the Bay, China town, and many other tourist attractions. How fun!

Since then, normal life has begun with travel for Fenny's work and our videography business. We are enjoying and thank everyone for all of their prayers.

Note: We are working on getting thank you cards out for all of the gifts! Thank you so much!
